Reducing Waste with Ziggy Markers

May 22, 2012 No Comments by

Among the many uses for Zig Posterman markers, recycling has now become one! Tessa, from the MassToss Coop based in Massachusetts, reports that her organizations uses the markers to reduce waste by using the markers on signs, instead of printing new signs. Here’s her story:

“We promote environmental awareness, so we try to reduce our waste. We ordered corrugated vinyl signs for our recycling collections and leave a space to put the date. Each collection we use Zig Posterman markers to update the date. After the event, we spray the date with Windex and use an old sock to remove the date and have the sign ready for the next event!

“(This) saves waste going to the landfill and cost (for) buying new signs! I have been doing this for the past 5 years.”
